The 5th edition of the PGK Equator Tour 2025 concluded thrillingly at Nakuru Golf Club, with veteran professional Dismas Indiza delivering a commanding performance to claim the trophy with an impressive -12 under par total.

Flying the Kenya Airways banner, Indiza demonstrated unwavering consistency over the four days, combining power and precision to stay ahead of a highly competitive field. His victory not only cements his status as one of Kenya’s most enduring golfing talents but also highlights his resilience and steady form throughout the Tour.

Finishing tied for second at -10 under par were Samuel Njoroge (Safaricom) and Jastas Madoya (Kenya Airways), both showing great composure and determination in pursuit of the title. David Wakhu came in fourth at -6, rounding off a leaderboard that showcased the depth and competitiveness of the Professional Golfers of Kenya (PGK).

The final round saw a spirited charge from Samuel Njoroge and Mohit Mediratta, who both carded the day’s best score of 68 gross, underlining the high standard of play on display in Nakuru.

This 5th edition of the Equator Tour, part of the Road to the Magical Kenya Open 2026 and Road to the Olympics 2028, continues to provide Kenya’s professional golfers with a platform to sharpen their skills, gain ranking points, and prepare for international representation.

“We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our sponsors — Kenya Airways, NCBA, Visa, Britam, Safaricom, Johnnie Walker, and Computech — for their unwavering support, and to Nakuru Golf Club for their hospitality and pristine course conditions that made this event a success,” added the statement.
