The PGK has been instrumental in promoting professional golf in Kenya, and several of its members have achieved local and international success. For example, Jacob Okello, a PGK member, in 1998 – got the best finish in the Kenya Open when he finished second, and Greg Snow, another member, has won several tournaments on the Safari Tour among other local golf tours.
The mission of PGK is to promote the enjoyment and involvement in the game of golf and to contribute to its growth by providing services to golf professionals and the golf industry.
